This is a mandatory backpack in preparation for the Sierra Trek outing. 

We will be hiking to the summit ridge up the forested heights of Agua Tibia Mountain on the Dripping Springs Trail. We will be passing a creek, sage scrub, lots of vegetation, and hopefully lots of wildflowers, along with Manzanita trees.  At times in the distance you can see snow capped mountains, Mount Palomar Observatory, and the ocean.  The trail is a challenging 14 miles and will help get us ready for our trip to Yosemite this summer.
