Welcome to Troop 11!

Troop 11 is chartered by The First Baptist Church of San Diego.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Troop 11 promotes this mission through a fun and challenging program which provides each boy the opportunity to:

* Learn life and recreational skills

* Gain self reliance and esteem

* Develop leadership and team work skills

* Create a sense of pride through community service

* Build strong character values

JLT and PLC to be rescheduled

JLT and PLC originally scheduled for Tuesday December 30 have been postponed. Mr. Tullio has had some work conflicts arise that make it necessary to reschedule. Hopefully it can be rescheduled as early as next week. As soon as a new date is available, calls will be made and it will be posted here.

Whitewater Rafting Expedition - Deposits due in January

A preliminary outing description has been posted on the interactive calendar (see June 2009). A 25 dollar deposit is being collected to hold a reservation for each participant. The deposits will be collected at troop meetings throughout January. This outing will cover the dates of June 17-20.

Grant Wagner's Eagle Court of Honor

Congratulations are due to Grant Wagner for completing his Eagle Rank. His Court of Honor is scheduled for January 25 at 4 PM. It will be in the Fellowship Hall (our regular troop meeting room) at the First Baptist Church of San Diego.
